Barristers, Lawyers and accountants are recognised as low-risk borrowers with high incomes and for this reason, you can borrow up to 90% of the value of the property and pay no Lenders Mortgage insurance (LMI). Normally LMI is payable if you borrow more than 80% of the value of the property.
