Product Eligibility
- Natural Person - Individuals. Additional Information: Available to Individuals only (Companies and/or Family/Unit/Hybrid Trusts are excluded).
- Min Age - 18. Additional Information: Individuals must be 18 years of age or above
- Other Additional Information: Customers must have a loan to value ratio of no more than 80% (i.e. at least a 20% deposit), unless postcode restrictions apply which may require a higher deposit amount.
- Other Additional Information: Customers are comfortable to self-serve online, submit their Digi Home Loan application via online channels (e.g. NetBank and CommBank app), and use the CommBank app to complete the application.
- Other Additional Information: CBA home loan customers cannot switch or internally re-finance into a digital home loan product.
- Other Additional Information: Available only for customers refinancing their loan from another financial institution to CommBank.
- Residency Status Additional Information: An individual living in Australia as: An Australian citizen, permanent resident or specified temporary Australian resident; New Zealand citizen; or overseas citizen co-borrowing with an Australian citizen or permanent resident. Or an individual living and working overseas as an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Bank Fees and Charges
- Establishment Fee (Event), Amount: 300.00. Additional Information: Payable to cover the costs the Bank incurs in establishing your loan and unless it is waived by us, is payable at the date of settling or funding.
- Loan Service Fee (Periodic), Amount: 10.00. Additional Information: Charged monthly to each Loan Account on the repayment due date.
- Settlement Cheque Fee (Event), Amount: 30.00. Additional Information: $30 per cheque. Payable if you require additional cheques (more than two) to fund / settle the loan.
- Late Payment Fee (Event), Amount: 20.00. Additional Information: For home loans - If your account falls into arrears, you will be charged a late payment fee. This fee is payable on the fifth business day after the monthly repayment due date. We will continue to charge the fee monthly until you repay all arrears or you enter into an arrangement with us for the full repayment of those arrears (even if you repay your loan weekly or fortnightly). If you break that arrangement the fee will continue to apply.
- Direct Debit Request (ddr) Change Fee (Event), Amount: 15.00. Additional Information: Payable if you ask us via phone or in branch to support you with changing your DDR. Waived until 30 June 2025.
- Paper Statement Fee (Event), Amount: 2.50. Additional Information: Payable if you opt out of electronic statements and request bi-annual paper statements, ask us to print a statement or provide you with an ad-hoc paper statement.
- Redraw Fee (Event), Amount: 15.00. Additional Information: Payable if you ask us via phone or in branch to support you with accessing your Additional Repayments (also known as Special Repayments or Available Redraw). Waived until 30 June 2025.
- Settlement Fee (discharge) (Event), Amount: 350.00. Additional Information: Payable if you discharge the loan, i.e. either sell part or all of the Security Property or refinance your Loan with another credit provider.
- Security Substitution Fee (Event), Amount: 300.00. Additional Information: Payable if you ask us to substitute one of your securities with another.
- Stop Payment Notice Fee (Event), Amount: 15.00. Additional Information: Payable if you ask us to stop payment on a cheque you have written.
- Voucher Fee (Variable), Amount: Not Listed.. Additional Information: $4 per voucher (minimum charge $12) or $60 per hour spent to retrieve voucher(s). Payable if you ask us to retrieve a voucher (i.e. deposit, credit or debit slips) that records a transaction on the Loan Account.
Limitations & Restrictions (Constraints)
- Min Balance of 1000.00 Additional Information: Minimum $1,000 withdrawal with a $15 Redraw fee payable if you ask us via phone or in branch to support you with accessing your Additional Repayments. This fee is waived until 30 June 2025. There is no minimum withdrawal amount when accessing redraw electronically and no fee.
- Min Limit of 100000.00 Additional Information: Minimum loan amount for new loans.
